Custom Single keycap
Every day, our fingers tap away on a keyboard tens of thousands of times – typing work, messages, and emotions. But most of the time, that little keyboard looks dull and identical to everyone else’s.
So I decided to craft my own little “world at my fingertips.”
For me, DIY keycaps are more than just a splash of color. They’re “creativity you can touch.” I take my favorite anime characters, a photo of my pet, or even a tiny leaf from a trip, and turn them into unique “time capsules” using resin, carving, or 3D printing.
-
When my finger hits the ESC key, it feels like soft, squishy cotton candy (silicone).
-
Pressing Enter brings the warm, smooth touch of hand-sanded wood.
-
And when I’m daydreaming, I look down to see a tiny planet suspended in crystal-clear resin.
That’s a kind of happiness mass-produced keycaps can never give me. Mine might have tiny bubbles, might not be perfect – but every scratch and every color tells my story and taste.
If you’re tired of the same old click-clack, come join me. Let’s build our own mini universe, right there in that tiny square.
